I found myself caught between coffee roasts, one had gone a bit stale, and the other hadn’t rested long enough. In a moment of desperation, I grabbed a bag of Campos from Woolies. Not exactly ideal, considering you never really know how long those bags have been sitting on the shelf or in the warehouse. This one I picked up was roasted way back on April 21, 2025, so it must have been sitting in the warehouse or the shelf for a while. Honestly, I was mostly curious since I hadn’t had Campos since trying it at a café about 5 years ago. It wasn’t terrible… but it didn’t exactly blow me away either.
